will be on Thursday, April 2nd, at 7:00 PM at First Christian Church. “Maundy” comes from the Latin word “mandatum,” which means “commandment.” On Maundy Thursday, we honor Christ’s commands to love one another as he loves us, and to share his supper. The service, which includes Communion, will move us from the washing of the disciples’ feet, to the Last Supper, to Jesus’ arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane.
