“Ya’ll Come!” —

Summer is nearly over. School is just about to begin. Vacation is nearly done. It’s time to gear up for fall! Now is the time to recommit yourself to the practices of your faith. Now is a great time to explore the many opportunities to connect with God and others through the life and ministries of First Christian Church.
COME – bring your family, friends and neighbors – on Sunday, September 13th and discover anew the many possibilities to grow and live out your faith.
9:00 Gathering time – All ages will gather all together in the Coffee House for drinks, snacks, and conversation.
9:15 Opening time – Gathered together across the ages, we will share in an opening time with a prayer and a song or two.
9:25 Learning Time – classes for all ages will begin.
10:30 Worship – come and invite others, volunteer to bring those who have trouble getting to church, or who are new and don’t know anyone, as we lift our voices in song and prayer and our hearts in thanksgiving to God. After the summer, maybe it could be like a reunion.
11:45 Sunday Sundaes – Ice Cream Social on the church lawn (weather permitting) or in Fellowship Hall if it is raining. There will be activities as well as a time for socializing and enjoying sweet treats. (Warning: this could spoil your lunch!)
